It is the mission of the Luna County Detention Center to protect the public and provide a secure and safe environment for both inmates and staff in accordance with the New Mexico Adult Detention Standards and the Federal Performance-Based Detention Standards

VISION STATEMENT:

It is the vision of the Luna County Detention Center to establish itself as a model organization that communicates, trains, and empowers a staff that can efficiently and effectively promote a safe, secure and reintegrating community.

The facility is split into three divisions: Administration | Adult Detention | Juvenile Detention.
